“Making Hope Visual” presents powerful designs that have brought the United Nations’ message to life, engaging diverse audiences in all corners of the world and making a positive impact on their lives. Major geopolitical milestones in peacekeeping, human rights, development, justice and environment are distilled into eye-catching visuals including logos, posters, and many other design products.
Developed by the Argentine graphic designer Matías Delfino, an international civil servant working at the United Nations in New York since 2000, these images all respond to the one challenge: to communicate with people of different cultures and different languages. The designs depict ideas and values that are timeless. Through them, we gain a fresh perspective on the human condition.
